DRAWING IN TIME

This workshop takes William Kentridge’s bold, experimental approach to charcoal drawing as its starting point. We’ll explore how drawing can be a process of thinking rather than simply recording, embracing mark-making, erasing, and reworking as creative tools rather than signs of mistakes. Like Kentridge, we’ll treat the drawing surface as a place where time and process are visible, where ghost marks and layered decisions become part of the finished work.

4.00pm – 5.30pm
Fun and engaging classes made accessible by demonstrations at every step. We will explore drawing and painting, clay modeling, collage and printmaking, landscapes and still lifes. Students will be working in a variety of materials including, soft pastels, paint, air drying clay, acrylics and inks.
Fee: £52 per 5 sessions (art materials supplied) Please provide a snack and drink for your child.
