Drawing in Time
Paintbox School of Art
13th & 14th March 2027
10.00am – 3.00pm
This workshop takes William Kentridge’s bold, experimental approach to charcoal drawing as its starting point. We’ll explore how drawing can be a process of thinking rather than simply recording, embracing mark-making, erasing, and reworking as creative tools rather than signs of mistakes. Like Kentridge, we’ll treat the drawing surface as a place where time and process are visible, where ghost marks and layered decisions become part of the finished work.
Please contact Paintbox if you have any questions about the above workshop.
